AF-4

AF-4
PFAM accession number:PF05110
Interpro abstract (IPR007797):

This family consists of family member 1 (proto-oncogene AF4), family member 2 or FMR2 (Fragile X E mental retardation syndrome), family member 3 or LAF4 (lymphoid nuclear protein related to AF4) and family member 4 (protein lilliputian). Lilliputian is a Drosophila AF4 protein homologue which contains an AT-hook domain. It represents a novel pair-rule gene that acts in cytoskeleton regulation, segmentation and morphogenesis in Drosophila [(PUBMED:11171404)].

These proteins have been linked to Homo sapiens diseases such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia and mental retardation [(PUBMED:11171403)].

This is a PFAM domain. For full annotation and more information, please see the PFAM entry AF-4
