ARS2
PFAM accession number:PF04959
Interpro abstract (IPR007042):

This entry represents Arsenite-resistance protein 2 (also known as Serrate RNA effector molecule homolog) which is thought to play a role in arsenite resistance [(PUBMED:10069470)], although does not directly confer arsenite resistance but rather modulates arsenic sensitivity [(PUBMED:19632182)]. Arsenite is a carcinogenic compound which can act as a comutagen by inhibiting DNA repair. It is also involved in cell cycle progression at S phase.
