Bul1_N
PFAM accession number:PF04425
Interpro abstract (IPR007519):

This domain is the N terminus of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Baker's yeast) Bul1 and Bul2. Bul1 binds the ubiquitin ligase Rsp5, via an N-terminal PPSY motif (157-160 in P48524 ) [ (PUBMED:9931424) ]. The complex containing Bul1 and Rsp5 is involved in intracellular trafficking of the general amino acid permease Gap1 [ (PUBMED:11500494) ], degradation of Rog1 in cooperation with Bul2 and GSK-3 [ (PUBMED:10958669) ], and mitochondrial inheritance [ (PUBMED:10366593) ]. Bul2, which is homologous to Bul1, also interacts with Rsp5 [ (PUBMED:9931424) ].
