DcrB is a bacterial protein required for phages C1 and C6 adsorption [ (PUBMED:8752353) (PUBMED:12558182) ]. It may be involved in the opening or formation of diffusion channels in the outer membrane [ (PUBMED:12558182) ]. Structurally, it consist of an antiparallel beta sheet with some alpha helical regions.

This entry also includes EagT6 from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. EagT6 plays an essential role in toxin Tse6 delivery to target cells and specifically in the loading of Tse6 onto VgrG1a [ (PUBMED:30177742) ].
