E3_UbLigase_EDD
PFAM accession number:PF11547
Interpro abstract (IPR024725):

EDD (also known as UBR5), the ER ubiquitin ligase from the HECT ligases, contains an N-terminal ubiquitin-associated (UBA) domain which binds ubiquitin. Ubiquitin is recognised by helices alpha-1 and -3 in in the UBA domain. EDD is involved in DNA damage repair pathways and binds to mono-ubiquitinated proteins [ (PUBMED:17897937) ].

GO function:ubiquitin binding (GO:0043130)
