NMDAR2_C
PFAM accession number:PF10565
Interpro abstract (IPR018884):

This domain is found at the C terminus of many NMDA-receptor proteins, many of which are also associated with IPR001320 and IPR001828 . This region is predicted to be a large extra-cellular domain of the NMDA receptor proteins, being highly hydrophilic, and is thought to be integrally involved in the function of the receptor. The region also carries a number of potential N-glycosylation sites [ (PUBMED:8428958) ].

This is a PFAM domain. For full annotation and more information, please see the PFAM entry NMDAR2_C
