Interpro abstract (IPR006419): | PnuC is a membrane protein responsible for nicotinamide mononucleotide transport [ (PUBMED:2546921) (PUBMED:15561822) ], subject to regulation by interaction with the NadR (also called NadI) protein (see IPR006417 ). The extreme N- and C-terminal regions are poorly conserved. This entry also includes the riboflavin/roseoflavin transporter RibM [ (PUBMED:22136195) ], which can also transport FMN and FAD [ (PUBMED:28406895) ]. |
GO process: | nicotinamide riboside transport (GO:0034258) |
GO component: | membrane (GO:0016020) |
GO function: | nicotinamide riboside transmembrane transporter activity (GO:0034257) |
