PV-1

PV-1
PFAM accession number:PF06637
Interpro abstract (IPR009538):

This family consists of several PV-1 (PLVAP) proteins, which seem to be specific to vertebrates. PV-1 is a component of the endothelial fenestral and stomatal diaphragms [ (PUBMED:15155804) (PUBMED:23063469) ]. PV-1 is retained on the cell surface of enddotelial cells by structures capable of forming diaphragms, but undergoes rapid internalization and degradation in the absence of these structures [ (PUBMED:22403691) ].

This is a PFAM domain. For full annotation and more information, please see the PFAM entry PV-1
