Phos_pyr_kin
PFAM accession number:PF08543
Interpro abstract (IPR013749):

Enzymes in this family belong to the ribokinase superfamily. Pyridoxamine kinase EC 2.7.1.35 phosphorylates B6 vitamers and functions in a salvage pathway [(PUBMED:9537380), (PUBMED:15547280)]. Phosphomethylpyrimidine kinase EC 2.7.4.7 is part of the thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP) synthesis pathway. TPP is an essential cofactor for many enzymes [(PUBMED:9244280)].
