DC_STAMP

DC_STAMP
PFAM accession number:PF07782
Interpro abstract (IPR012858):

This group of sequences is similar to a region of the dendritic cell-specific transmembrane protein (DC-STAMP, Q9H295 ). This is thought to be a novel receptor protein that shares no identity with other multimembrane-spanning proteins [ (PUBMED:11169400) ]. It is thought to have seven putative transmembrane regions [ (PUBMED:11169400) ], two of which are found in the region featured in this family. DC-STAMP is also described as having potential N-linked glycosylation sites and a potential phosphorylation site for PKC [ (PUBMED:11169400) ], but these are not conserved.

GO component:integral component of membrane (GO:0016021)
