Several of these proteins have been annotated as being HEAT repeat-containing proteins while others are designated as death-receptor interacting proteins, but neither of these has yet been confirmed. Aberrations in the genes encoding these proteins have been observed in benign thyroid adenomas [ (PUBMED:12955091) ].
