U3snoRNP10

U3snoRNP10
PFAM accession number:PF12397
Interpro abstract (IPR022125):

This entry represents the N-terminal domain of Utp10, which is a HEAT-repeat containing protein involved in nucleolar processing of pre-18S ribosomal RNA [ (PUBMED:12068309) ]. Utp10 is also involved in 40S ribosome maturation [ (PUBMED:17652137) ]. Proteins containing this domain also include HEATR1 from humans. HEATR1 is required for optimal pre-ribosomal RNA transcription by RNA polymerase I [ (PUBMED:17699751) ].

This is a PFAM domain. For full annotation and more information, please see the PFAM entry U3snoRNP10
