CorC_HlyC

CorC_HlyC

Transporter associated domain
SMART ACC:SM001091
Description:This small domain is found in a family of proteins with the DUF21 domain and two CBS domains with this domain found at the C-terminus of the proteins, the domain is also found at the C terminus of some Na+/H+ antiporters. This domain is also found in CorC that is involved in Magnesium and cobalt efflux. The function of this domain is uncertain but might be involved in modulating transport of ion substrates.

KEGG pathways involving proteins which contain this domain

This information is based on the mapping of SMART genomic protein database to KEGG orthologous groups. Percentages are related to the number of proteins containing a CorC_HlyC domain which could be assigned to a KEGG orthologous group, and not all proteins containing CorC_HlyC domains. Please note that proteins can be included in multiple pathways, ie. the numbers below will not add to 100%.
