AbLIM_anchor

AbLIM_anchor
PFAM accession number:PF16182
Interpro abstract (IPR032402):

This is a domain lying between the LIM actin-binding and the vilin-head domains of actin-binding LIM proteins (abLIMs). It is likely that this domain is involved in anchoring abLIMs to circumferential actin bundles in specific cell types [ (PUBMED:20709423) ]. It is also found in Dematin, an actin-binding protein originally identified in the junctional complex of the erythrocyte plasma membrane [ (PUBMED:19241372) ].

This is a PFAM domain. For full annotation and more information, please see the PFAM entry AbLIM_anchor
